Additionally, students receive information and training on how to identify, abate, avoid, and prevent work-related hazards on a job site, as well as information about their rights as employees and employer responsibilities.  Based on OSHA CFR 1910 guidelines, the training covers a variety of general industry safety and health hazards that a worker may encounter. The course emphasizes hazard identification, avoidance, control, and prevention.
