The Bachelor of Science Program in Safety Management is designed to integrate the health and human perspectives with the technical and applied sciences related to the safety science discipline. The program addresses the human factors of the safety profession with a focus on communication, ethics, leadership, psychology, and other key aspects of occupational health and safety. It also covers the essential components of safety management including policy, risk management, safety assurance, and safety promotion.
Completion of the Safety Management Program prepares students for a career in safety management for the natural gas and energy industries as well as numerous occupational health and safety positions that serve other regional industries.
This program provides Study content students with basic knowledge and professional skills in safety science and management. Special attention is given to OSHA rules and regulations covering the workplace. Students in this program receive specific preparation for managing work site safety. Certification Information
Professional Bachelor’s degree
While some of oxford academy of sciences for safety professional degree programs are designed to prepare students to meet international certification requirements, these programs are not necessarily compatible with certification requirements in other states. Students who plan to enroll in international degree programs with the intent to pursue certification in states other than must be aware of the professional certification requirements in those states. Current students who are planning to undertake field experiences outside of should also be aware the requirements of other states. Consistent with regulations, oxford academy of sciences for safety is making a good faith effort to determine if our Professional programs leading to certification meet the requirements of licensing boards in other states. Doing so requires contacting in your state licensing boards and having those boards review program curricula.
